Floristería Bogotá - Flores Colombia

To send flowers to Bogota from abroad, order online in USD and a Bogota florist arranges your bouquet fresh, hand-delivering it within 1-2 business days. Bouquets start around $55, and every order carries the same flat $14.95 service fee — a small price for flowers in the country that grows them for the world.

Why is Bogota one of the best cities anywhere to send flowers?

Colombia is one of the largest cut-flower exporters on the planet, and much of that harvest — roses, carnations, alstroemerias — is grown in greenhouses on the high savanna surrounding Bogota itself. When roses appear in shops in New York or Tokyo, there is a fair chance they started here. Sending flowers to Bogota, then, means your recipient gets blooms at the source: fresher, fuller, and more varied than almost anywhere else we deliver. Our local florists work with that abundance daily, arranging your order the day it goes out, whether it is headed to an apartment in Chapinero, a family home in the north near Usaquén, or an office in the city center below Monserrate.

Which Colombian occasions should be on your radar?

Two dates dominate. Dia de la Madre, the second Sunday of May, is enormous in Colombia — arguably the biggest flower day of the year, when florists sell out and streets fill with deliveries — so order well ahead. The second is uniquely Colombian: Amor y Amistad, the country's version of Valentine's Day, celebrated the third Saturday of September with gifts between couples and friends alike. Add Women's Day in March, birthdays, quinceañeras, graduations, and condolences, and Bogota's flower calendar never really rests. Many of our orders come from Colombians abroad and from partners in long-distance relationships; your message card is delivered exactly as written, so write it in Spanish, English, or both.

How does delivery work across such a large city?

Bogota sprawls along its Andean plateau at 2,600 meters, and the cool mountain climate is a quiet gift to cut flowers — they last noticeably longer here than in hot lowland cities. Standard delivery is 1-2 business days, with same-day often available for orders placed before noon local time; Bogota shares a time zone with US Eastern (standard time), which makes timing easy for North American senders. Include the neighborhood and a phone number, as bogotano addresses work best with both. You can pay by card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin natively at checkout.
