Prices are in USD from about $55, plus a flat $14.95 service fee.

Prague takes its romance seriously. Every 1st of May, couples climb Petřín hill to kiss beneath the blossoming cherry trees near the statue of the poet Karel Hynek Mácha — author of "Máj", the most beloved romantic poem in the Czech language — a spring ritual the whole city knows, which makes May 1 the unofficial day of lovers here. A bouquet delivered to a doorstep in Vinohrady or Žižkov taps into that same instinct: Czechs give flowers often, and with intention.

What should you know about Czech name days?

Open any Czech calendar and each day carries a name — and celebrating your svátek is a genuine tradition, lighter than a birthday but warmly observed with flowers, chocolate or a small gift. If your friend in Prague is named Jana, Petr, Tereza or Jakub, their name day is printed on the national calendar and colleagues will likely mark it. Sending flowers on someone's svátek shows a level of cultural fluency that never goes unnoticed.

When is Mother's Day in the Czech Republic?

The second Sunday of May — and the date carries some history. During the communist decades, March 8's International Women's Day was the state-promoted occasion, while Mother's Day, a First Republic tradition, faded from official life; after 1989 it returned to Czech calendars, and today many families quietly mark both. For a sender abroad, the practical takeaway is simple: a bouquet in the second week of May will never be wrong, and one on March 8 will still charm mothers and grandmothers who grew up receiving carnations on that date.

Which flowers do Czechs prefer — and does the number matter?

It does. Czech custom calls for an odd number of stems for celebrations; even numbers are traditionally reserved for funerals, so a bouquet of twelve reads differently in Prague than in New York. Tulips in spring, peonies in early summer and roses year-round are all safe, well-loved choices. Around Dušičky, All Souls' Day at the start of November, Czechs visit family graves with wreaths and chrysanthemums — which is why those blooms read as memorial flowers here. Our florists arrange to local convention by hand on delivery day, so you do not need to worry about counting stems yourself.

How does delivery navigate a city of courtyards and cobblestones?

Prague's older buildings often hide flats behind courtyards and multiple bell panels, so include the recipient's phone number and any flat number you know. Couriers deliver across the districts — from Old Town offices to family apartments out in Vinohrady, Smíchov or Letná — and your card message travels exactly as written, in Czech, English or Spanish.

Beyond the capital, we provide flower delivery across the Czech Republic, including Brno and Ostrava. Pay however suits you — card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin directly in the checkout.
