Florist Ankara - Blumen Türkei

To send flowers to Ankara from overseas, order online in USD and a florist in the Turkish capital will arrange your bouquet fresh and hand-deliver it within 1-2 business days. Bouquets start around $55 with a flat $14.95 service fee — fixed for every country, so the total you see is the total you pay.

How is sending flowers to Ankara different from sending to Istanbul?

Ankara is the capital of ministries, embassies, and universities, and its flower culture reflects that: arrangements go to offices in Çankaya and Kızılay as often as to homes. The city sits high on the Anatolian plateau, with cold, sometimes snowy winters and dry summers — a climate where hand delivery by a local florist genuinely matters, because a boxed bouquet left on a doorstep in a January frost would not survive the hour. Our florists work inside the city, build each order the day it goes out, and know their way around Ankara's apartment blocks, gated sites, and government buildings alike.

Which occasions fill an Ankara florist's calendar?

Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May and Valentine's Day (Sevgililer Günü) on February 14 are the two giants. Women's Day on March 8 has grown steadily in Turkey, and Teacher's Day on November 24 is a distinctly Turkish occasion when students and parents send flowers to teachers — Ankara, full of schools and universities, takes it seriously. Republic Day on October 29 carries special weight in the capital, home of Anıtkabir, Atatürk's mausoleum. And year-round, Turkish social custom calls for flowers at engagements, new babies, new jobs, and house visits; arriving empty-handed is simply not done.

What are the practical details for ordering from abroad?

Everything is priced in USD, which spares you tracking the lira, and the $14.95 fee never moves. Checkout accepts international cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and Bitcoin — the option to pay with Bitcoin is handy when a foreign card gets declined on a Turkey-bound payment. You can order in English or Spanish, and your note is delivered exactly as written; paste it in Turkish and it arrives in Turkish. Same-day delivery is often available if you order before noon Ankara time. abcFlora has worked this way since 2005 and holds a 4.8/5 rating from 377+ verified reviews.

If your recipient is elsewhere in the country, we arrange flower delivery across Turkey through the same local-florist network, from the Aegean coast to the far east.
