Florist Arequipa - Peru Blumen

To send flowers to Arequipa from abroad, order online in USD and a local Arequipa florist will prepare your bouquet fresh, hand-delivering it within 1-2 business days. Bouquets start around $55, and the service fee is a flat $14.95 — the same for Peru as for every other country.

What makes Arequipa a rewarding city to send flowers to?

They call it the White City for the pale sillar stone — volcanic ash rock — that built its colonial center, all of it sitting under the near-perfect cone of El Misti. Arequipa enjoys sunshine most days of the year, and that high-desert light does something generous to a bouquet delivered to a doorway in Yanahuara, with its famous arched mirador, or to a flat near the Plaza de Armas. The city also has its own strong identity — Arequipeños will tell you, half-joking, that they belong to an independent republic — so a gift that arrives through a local florist rather than a shipping box lands with the right accent.

When should you time a flower delivery to Arequipa?

August 15 is the city's anniversary, celebrated with days of parades, fireworks, and the great friendship festival that takes over the center — an unbeatable week for a celebratory bouquet. Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May is the biggest gifting date nationwide, and Peruvian families treat it as close to obligatory. Add birthdays, quinceañeros, graduations from the city's universities, and the steady stream of family milestones that Peruvians abroad — and there are many, from the US to Spain to Chile — want to be present for, even from a distance.

How does ordering from another country work in practice?

Your order goes straight to a florist in Arequipa, who arranges it the day of delivery. Same-day is often available if you order before noon Peru time; otherwise expect 1-2 business days. Prices are in USD, familiar currency for Peruvians receiving remittances, and the $14.95 fee is fixed. Pay with a card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin at checkout. Order in English or Spanish — and write the card in Spanish if you like, because it is delivered exactly as you type it, endearments and all.
