Florist Bergen - Blumen Norwegen

To send flowers to Bergen from abroad, order online in USD and a Bergen florist arranges the bouquet fresh, hand-delivering it within 1-2 business days. Prices start around $55, and the service fee is a flat $14.95 for every order — no premium for Norway, no currency conversion headaches.

Does Bergen's famous rain affect flower delivery?

Bergen wears its reputation as one of Europe's rainiest cities with pride — locals will tell you there is no bad weather, only bad clothing — and the honest answer is that the rain helps more than it hurts. Cool, damp air is gentle on cut flowers, and Bergen florists are well practiced at wrapping arrangements properly for the walk to the door. Your bouquet is composed in the city on delivery day, whether it is bound for an apartment near the medieval Bryggen wharf, a house up the slopes of Fløyen, or a student flat near the university. Squeezed between its seven mountains and the fjords, Bergen is compact — once the arrangement is ready, it does not travel far.

Which Bergen occasions deserve flowers?

The date that matters most is May 17, Constitution Day — Norway's biggest celebration, when Bergen fills with parades, brass bands, and bunads, and flowers are everywhere from breakfast tables to buttonholes. Mother's Day in Norway falls on the second Sunday of February, not in May, a detail that catches senders abroad off guard every year. Add Valentine's Day, graduations in June when russ season winds down, birthdays, and the deep Norwegian custom of bringing flowers when visiting someone's home, and the calendar stays busy. Your gift message is delivered exactly as written — Norwegian included, if you want to sign off with a proper "klem."

What does the delivery process look like?

Order in English or Spanish; a local florist confirms and builds the arrangement from what is freshest that day. Standard delivery is 1-2 business days, and same-day is often available in Bergen for orders placed before noon local time — Norway is on Central European Time, so US senders should order in their morning to catch it. With 37 arrangements currently available for Bergen, there is real range here, from classic roses to Nordic seasonal styles. Checkout takes cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and you can pay with Bitcoin natively if you prefer.

We deliver across the country too — see Stavanger down the coast, Drammen near Oslo, or browse the whole network on our flower delivery across Norway page. Operating since 2005 with a 4.8/5 rating from 377+ verified customers, we make one promise consistently: flowers for Bergen are made in Bergen, fresh, and carried to the door by hand — rain or shine, and in Bergen, probably rain.
