Florist Drammen - Blumen Norwegen

To send flowers to Drammen from abroad, order online in USD and a local Drammen florist will arrange the bouquet fresh, delivering it within 1-2 business days — often same-day if you order before noon Norwegian time. Bouquets start around $55, and the service fee is a flat $14.95 wherever you are ordering from.

What is worth knowing about Drammen itself?

Drammen has quietly become one of Norway's pleasant surprises. Once known mostly for its port and paper mills, the city rebuilt itself around the Drammenselva river — riverside walks, the striking Ypsilon footbridge linking the two banks, and the café life around Bragernes Torg, one of the country's handsomest market squares. Deliveries here span both sides of the river, from Bragernes up the sunny northern slopes to Strømsø around the station, and out into the surrounding valley neighbourhoods.

Which Norwegian dates should you circle?

Norway celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday of February — earlier than most countries, and easy for relatives abroad to miss, so set a reminder. Valentine's Day follows a week later, making mid-February the florist's high season. Then comes May 17, Constitution Day, when the whole city turns out in bunads and ribbons; flowers for hosts and grandparents are part of the ritual. June graduations and the dark stretch of November-January, when fresh blooms do real work against the gloom, round out the year.

How does delivery work in practice?

Your bouquet is composed in Drammen on delivery day — nothing is boxed or shipped — and brought by hand, with the florist calling ahead if the recipient is out, sensible in a country where winter doorsteps are no place to leave flowers. You can order in English or Spanish, and your card message arrives exactly as written, Norwegian characters and all. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and gives you the option to pay with Bitcoin natively — no currency conversion, same flat fee.
