Florist Lissabon - Blumen aus Portugal

Ordering flowers for Lisbon from another country is straightforward: pay in USD — arrangements start near $55 and every order carries the same flat $14.95 service fee — and a florist in Lisbon makes the bouquet fresh and hand-delivers it, typically within 1-2 business days, often same-day for orders placed before noon local time.

When does Lisbon most expect flowers?

Early May, first of all: Portugal celebrates Dia da Mãe on the first Sunday of the month, and it is comfortably the busiest flower date of the Lisbon year. Then comes June, when the city throws itself into the Santos Populares. The feast of Santo António, Lisbon's patron, peaks on the night of 12 June with street parties, grilled sardines, and the charming local custom of giving a potted manjerico — a small basil plant with a paper carnation and a love poem tucked in. It is a city that already links affection with green, growing gifts, so a bouquet in June lands in fertile ground. Late May has its own magic too, when the jacaranda trees flood avenues like Avenida da Liberdade with violet blossom. If you can time a delivery to either moment, do.

Why does hand delivery matter so much in Lisbon?

Because Lisbon is vertical. The staircases of Alfama, the steep grades of Graça, the miradouros perched above the rooftops — this is not a city where a boxed bouquet bounced through a parcel network arrives looking loved. Our model is different: a Lisbon florist buys stems that morning, arranges them, and carries them to the door personally, whether that door is on a tiled facade in Alfama, an apartment in Campo de Ourique, or an office in Parque das Nações. The result steps straight from the florist's hands to the recipient's, water still on the stems.

What are the payment options from abroad?

Everything is priced in US dollars, which keeps the total transparent no matter where you are sending from — the large Portuguese communities in the US, Canada, France, and Brazil use this route constantly. Cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay all work, and you can pay with Bitcoin natively at checkout via OpenNode, a genuinely rare option in flower delivery. You can order in English or Spanish, and your message prints exactly as written — Portuguese accents and all — so "com saudades" survives the journey intact. With a 4.8/5 rating over 377+ verified reviews, the system has been tested by plenty of long-distance senders before you.

If your people are beyond the capital — in Porto, the Algarve, or a small town in between — the same network handles flower delivery across Portugal, always through a florist who lives where your recipient does, always with the same flat fee and 1-2 day delivery window.
