Florist Ljubljana - Blumen aus Slowenien

To get flowers to Ljubljana from abroad, order online in USD — bouquets from roughly $55, with a fixed $14.95 service fee — and a florist in Ljubljana arranges the flowers fresh and delivers them by hand, usually within 1-2 business days. Order before noon Slovenian time and same-day delivery is frequently available.

Does Slovenia have its own day for lovers and flowers?

It does, and it comes early. Gregorjevo, on 12 March, is the traditional Slovenian day of love — the day "the birds get married", as the old saying goes, marking the start of spring. Many Slovenes treat it as their Valentine's Day, though 14 February is widely celebrated too, giving you two chances within a month. March 8, International Women's Day, remains a significant flower-giving date here as well, and Mother's Day follows on 25 March. In short: if you have someone in Ljubljana, late winter and early spring is the season to show up with flowers, right when the city is shaking off the cold. And whatever the date, Ljubljana's scale works in your favour: this is a capital where the florist may know the street, the building, and half the neighbours by name.

How does a courier manage Ljubljana's car-free centre?

The heart of Ljubljana — the old town curled beneath the castle hill, the embankments of the Ljubljanica, Prešeren Square and the Triple Bridge — is largely closed to cars. That is precisely why a local florist matters: deliveries into the pedestrian zone are made on foot or by bike, timed and routed by someone who does it every day. Addresses out in Šiška, Bežigrad, or across the river in Trnovo are a normal van run. Either way the bouquet is built the same day from fresh stems — never shipped in a box — and handed directly to your recipient, whether at home, at an office, or at the university.

What should you know before you order?

Prices are in US dollars and the total is fixed at checkout: bouquet plus $14.95, with no exchange-rate guesswork. You can pay by card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin through OpenNode — a fitting option for a country with one of Europe's most crypto-friendly capitals. Orders can be placed in English or Spanish, and the gift message is delivered letter-for-letter as you wrote it, so feel free to write it in Slovene with every č, š, and ž in place. Across 377+ verified reviews we hold a 4.8/5 rating, much of it from people doing exactly this: sending love home from abroad.

Ljubljana is compact, but Slovenia's green corners are not far behind — our flower delivery across Slovenia reaches other towns through the same local florists, with the identical flat fee and the same 1-2 business day promise wherever the address happens to be.
