Florist Lyon - Blumen Frankreich

Getting a bouquet to Lyon from abroad is a short job: order in USD — arrangements from about $55, plus a flat $14.95 service fee — and a florist in Lyon composes it fresh and hand-delivers it, generally within 1-2 business days. Before noon French time, same-day delivery is often on the table.

Why is Lyon a special city to send roses to?

Because Lyon practically invented the modern rose. In the nineteenth century the city's breeders were the most celebrated in the world, raising hundreds of new varieties that still carry Lyonnais names, and the international rose garden in the Parc de la Tête d'Or keeps that inheritance blooming across thousands of bushes. Sending roses to Lyon is, in a quiet way, sending them home. Your bouquet is arranged by a florist working in the city — someone choosing from fresh stock that morning, in a town that has judged roses expertly for two centuries — and it is walked to the door, never shipped in a box.

Which Lyonnais dates deserve flowers?

The Fête des Lumières, around 8 December, is the city's signature: Lyonnais set lumignons — small candles — on their windowsills, and the whole city glows for four nights. Flowers delivered that week join a genuinely magical atmosphere, and December could use them anyway. On 1 May, France's muguet tradition puts lily of the valley in everyone's hands for luck, and French Mother's Day in late May or early June is the year's biggest flower occasion nationwide. Between those fixed points, Lyon's food-obsessed social life — this is France's gastronomic capital, from bouchon dinners to serious celebrations — produces a steady stream of hosts to thank and milestones to mark. A dinner invitation in Lyon is an honour; arriving with flowers is the correct answer to it.

How does delivery work across Lyon's hills and riverbanks?

Lyon sits where the Rhône meets the Saône, split into the Presqu'île between the rivers, the Renaissance lanes of Vieux Lyon, and the steep slopes of Croix-Rousse, the old silk-weavers' quarter laced with traboules. A local florist reads that geography without thinking about it — which addresses mean stairs, which mean codes, which mean a courtyard behind a courtyard. Deliveries reach homes, offices, and hospitals across all nine arrondissements. At checkout you pay in US dollars by card, PayPal, or Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin natively via OpenNode. Messages are delivered exactly as written, in French if you like, and orders can be placed in English or Spanish. Our 4.8/5 rating across 377+ verified reviews rests on deliveries like these.

The same network handles flower delivery across France, city by city through local florists. Nearby-ish, we also deliver in Montpellier and up north in Lille — same flat fee, same fresh-that-morning bouquets.
