Florist Nantes - Blumen Frankreich

To send flowers to Nantes from abroad, place your order in USD and a florist in the city arranges your bouquet fresh, delivering it within 1-2 business days — with same-day often available before noon French time. Bouquets start around $55, plus one flat $14.95 service fee, identical for every destination we serve.

Why does Nantes know its flowers better than most cities?

Because France's most beloved flower tradition is grown here. The countryside around Nantes produces the overwhelming majority of the muguet — lily of the valley — that the entire country exchanges every first of May, a local pride the way wine is to Bordeaux. The city itself keeps a magnificent Jardin des Plantes across from the station, one of France's great botanical gardens. When you send flowers to Nantes, you're sending them to people with a trained eye, which is exactly why every abcFlora bouquet is arranged by hand in the city, never shipped in a box.

Which occasions matter for flower delivery in Nantes?

May 1st, obviously — on the Fête du Muguet the whole city trades sprigs of lily of the valley for luck, and demand is enormous. Fête des Mères follows in late May or early June as the year's most heartfelt date. Valentine's Day, student milestones — Nantes has a big university population — housewarmings on the fast-growing Île de Nantes, and the French habit of never arriving at dinner empty-handed cover the rest. For condolences, understated arrangements are the local custom, and your florist will compose accordingly.

How does delivery work across the city and the Loire?

Smoothly. Couriers cover the medieval lanes of Bouffay, the elegant blocks around the Passage Pommeraye, the redeveloped Île de Nantes where the Grand Éléphant of the Machines de l'île stalks the old shipyards, and across the river to the painted fishermen's houses of Trentemoult. Apartment deliveries are handled the French way — digicode, interphone, or a quick call to the recipient. Your message prints word for word as written, and you can order in English or Spanish.
