Florist Port Louis - Blumen Mauritius

To send flowers to Port Louis from overseas, place your order online and a florist based in Mauritius arranges it fresh for hand delivery — typically within 1-2 business days, with same-day often possible before noon Mauritius time. You pay in USD, plus one flat $14.95 service fee.

Port Louis packs a remarkable amount of world into a small harbour city: the stalls of the Central Market, the shopfronts of Chinatown, the Caudan Waterfront on the sea, and the Champ de Mars — the oldest racecourse in the Southern Hemisphere — ringed by mountains behind it all. Mauritius even grows its own signature bloom: the anthurium, cultivated on the island and exported around the world.

Which celebrations fill the Mauritian flower calendar?

Nearly all of them, because Mauritius celebrates nearly everything. Diwali lights up homes across the island in autumn; Eid brings family feasts; Chinese New Year turns Chinatown festive; and Thaipoosam Cavadee sees devotees carry elaborately flower-decorated cavadees in one of the island's most striking traditions. Add Christian holidays, weddings and Independence Day on 12 March, and you will rarely struggle to find a good reason to send flowers to Port Louis.

What travels best in a tropical island climate?

Locally grown tropicals are the smart play. Anthuriums are a Mauritian speciality and last exceptionally well in the island heat, while our florists balance them with roses, lilies and seasonal stems depending on the occasion. Because every arrangement is made up on delivery day by someone working on the island — nothing spends a week in a shipping box — the flowers arrive hydrated, arranged and ready to display.

How does delivery work in and around the capital?

Couriers cover the city centre, the residential suburbs rising toward the Moka Range, and workplaces from the harbour to the business towers near the waterfront. A phone number for your recipient keeps things smooth — drivers call ahead as a matter of course. Your gift message is delivered exactly as you write it, and you can place the whole order in English or Spanish.
