Florist Pretoria - Blumen aus Südafrika

To send flowers to Pretoria from another country, order online and a local Pretoria florist makes your bouquet fresh on the day it is delivered — usually within 1-2 business days, often same-day before noon South African time. You pay in USD with one flat $14.95 service fee, nothing more.

Pretoria is literally nicknamed the Jacaranda City. Every October, tens of thousands of jacaranda trees turn whole streets purple, from the avenues below the Union Buildings to the student neighbourhoods around Hatfield. There is even a beloved campus legend that if a jacaranda blossom falls on your head during exams, you will pass. In a city this fond of blooms, sending flowers is speaking the local language.

When is flower-giving at its peak in Pretoria?

Spring arrives in September and October, when the jacarandas flower and the city is at its most photogenic — a lovely window for birthdays and just-because gestures. South African Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of May, matriculation results and graduations cluster around summer, and Women's Day on 9 August is a national holiday that many families mark. Order a day ahead of the big dates; local florists are at their busiest then.

Who are people sending flowers to in Pretoria?

Everyone from students to civil servants. Pretoria is South Africa's administrative capital and home to major universities, so deliveries go to embassy offices and government departments as often as to family homes in Brooklyn, Waterkloof or Centurion. If you are congratulating a new graduate, welcoming a baby at a hospital, or supporting someone through a loss, a hand-arranged bouquet from a florist in their own city arrives with the freshness a courier box never could.

What makes delivery smooth in a spread-out city?

Pretoria covers a lot of ground, and many homes sit inside security estates or complexes. Include the estate or complex name, unit number and — most importantly — the recipient's cellphone number so the driver can be buzzed in. Your gift message is delivered word for word as you wrote it, and you can place the order in English or Spanish.

We deliver countrywide too: browse flower delivery across South Africa for Johannesburg, Cape Town and beyond. Checkout takes cards, PayPal and Shop Pay, and you can also pay with Bitcoin natively — part of why customers rate the service 4.8/5 across 377+ verified reviews.
