Florist Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni - Blumen Französisch-Guayana

To send flowers to Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni from abroad, order online and a local florist arranges your bouquet fresh and delivers it by hand, usually within 1-2 business days. Bouquets are priced in US dollars from about $55, the service fee is a flat $14.95, and you can order in English or Spanish.

What makes flower-giving in Saint-Laurent different?

Saint-Laurent sits on the Maroni River, facing Suriname across the water, and it is one of the most culturally layered towns in South America: Creole, Maroon, Amerindian, Hmong, and metropolitan French communities all meet here. The town's history is written into the Camp de la Transportation, the former penal colony now used as a cultural site near the riverfront. Gifting follows the French calendar — Fête des Mères in late May or early June is the year's biggest flower moment — while Guiana's long carnival season, running from Epiphany to Ash Wednesday, keeps the early months festive across the territory.

How does delivery work this far from Cayenne?

Saint-Laurent lies about 250 kilometers from Cayenne along the coastal road, which is precisely why local arrangement matters. Your bouquet is not trucked across French Guiana; it is composed in town by a florist who knows the neighborhoods between the river and the market, and hand-delivered to homes, offices, or the hospital. Include a phone number for your recipient — in a river town where addresses can be informal, a quick call is how a driver confirms the right gate. Your message card is delivered exactly as you write it, in French, English, Spanish, or any language you choose.

Which flowers hold up in the equatorial climate?

This is the Amazonian coast: hot, humid, with generous rainy seasons. Tropical stems — heliconias, gingers, anthuriums, and lush foliage — thrive in these conditions and stay striking for days, so arrangements here often lean bold rather than pastel. Florists condition every stem before heading out and time deliveries to avoid the heaviest afternoon downpours. Checkout takes cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay, and you can also pay with Bitcoin, which is handy when you are sending from a bank system that treats French Guiana as an exotic destination.

We cover the rest of the territory as well: send to the capital through our Cayenne collection, reach the space-center town via Kourou, or browse flower delivery across French Guiana to see everywhere we deliver.
