Florist Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivien Blumen

Sending flowers to Santa Cruz de la Sierra from abroad takes minutes: order online and a florist in the city arranges your bouquet fresh, hand-delivering within 1-2 business days — or same day when you order before noon Bolivian time. Prices run in US dollars from about $55, plus a flat $14.95 service fee.

When do cruceños give flowers?

Bolivia keeps its own Mother's Day — May 27, commemorating the Heroínas de la Coronilla — and it is far and away the country's biggest flower date, a full-hearted holiday when no mother should go without a bouquet. September is the other great month in Santa Cruz: the 24th marks the department's anniversary with civic pride everywhere, and Expocruz, the enormous trade fair, turns the city into Bolivia's meeting point, with plenty of corporate and personal flower-sending along the way. Valentine's Day, quinceañeras, and graduations keep demand steady the rest of the year.

How does delivery work across the anillos?

Santa Cruz is laid out in concentric ring roads — the anillos — crossed by radiales, and every local address is described in those terms. Give your recipient's address exactly as they say it, third anillo and the radial included, along with their phone number, and the florist's driver will do the rest. Deliveries reach the old center around Plaza 24 de Septiembre, the business and restaurant district of Equipetrol, and the residential neighborhoods pushing out ring by ring as the city grows — and it grows fast; this is Bolivia's largest and most dynamic city.

Does the tropical climate affect the flowers?

Santa Cruz sits in the warm eastern lowlands, not the Andes, so think tropical heat broken by the occasional surazo, the cool wind that sweeps up from the south. Local florists work with that reality: stems are conditioned before delivery, arrangements favor varieties that hold in warmth, and everything is composed in the city on the day it goes out rather than traveling boxed from anywhere.
