Florist Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Blumen Kanarische Inseln

To send flowers to Santa Cruz de Tenerife from abroad, order online and a florist in the city prepares your bouquet fresh, hand-delivering within 1-2 business days — same day if you order before noon Canary time. Bouquets are priced in US dollars from around $55, with one flat $14.95 service fee.

When is Santa Cruz at its most flower-filled?

Two moments stand out. Carnival, in February, is one of the world's great street celebrations, when the city barely sleeps for weeks — costumed murgas and comparsas fill the streets night after night, closing with the mock-mournful Burial of the Sardine — a lively backdrop for any bouquet. But the more telling date is May 3, the Día de la Cruz, the anniversary of the city's founding, when crosses throughout Santa Cruz are dressed entirely in fresh flowers. A city that decorates its own name-day with blooms takes floristry seriously, and it shows in the quality of what local florists produce year-round. Mother's Day in early May and Valentine's Day complete the peak season.

Does the island climate work in your favor?

Completely. Tenerife's coast enjoys mild temperatures nearly all year, which is kind both to flowers in transit across town and to the bouquet once it is on a recipient's table. The city's affection for plant life is visible in the Parque García Sanabria, the lush central park where subtropical trees and flowerbeds mingle with sculptures — and where a famous floral clock keeps time in living colour. Locals grow up surrounded by this stuff, so a well-made arrangement is appreciated knowingly. Every order is arranged in the city on the day of delivery; nothing arrives in a shipping box.

Which flower says Canary Islands?

The strelitzia — the bird of paradise. Its angular orange-and-blue bloom has become an unofficial emblem of the archipelago: it thrives in Tenerife's climate, brightens gardens and hotel lobbies across the island, and is the flower visitors most often carry home. Local florists know it intimately, and it lends an arrangement an unmistakably Canarian accent alongside roses, lilies and seasonal stems. For a recipient who loves the island's own flora, it is the detail that turns a nice bouquet into a knowing one.

Which parts of the city do florists reach?

Deliveries cover the center around the Plaza de España and the pedestrian shopping streets, the long Rambla with its trees and flower stalls, the residential districts climbing toward the Anaga foothills, offices, hotels, and the hospital — with the white wave of the Auditorio de Tenerife marking the waterfront along the way. If your recipient lives in an apartment block, as most santacruceros do, include their phone number so the driver can ring ahead. Your gift message is delivered exactly as written, in Spanish, English, or any language, and checkout accepts cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, or lets you pay with Bitcoin.

Sending to another island? Our Las Palmas de Gran Canaria collection covers the other capital, Arrecife serves Lanzarote, and the whole archipelago is under flower delivery across the Canary Islands.
