Florist Tallinn - Blumen Estland

To send flowers to Tallinn from abroad, order online in USD and a local Tallinn florist builds the bouquet fresh and delivers it by hand within 1-2 business days. Prices start near $55, the service fee is a flat $14.95, and same-day delivery is usually available if you order before noon Estonian time.

When is the best time to send flowers to Tallinn?

Estonia's calendar gives you several strong moments. Women's Day on March 8 is widely observed, and emadepaev, Estonian Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, is one of the busiest flower days of the year. Midsummer, the jaanipaev season in late June, is when the city empties toward summer houses, so if your recipient tends to leave town, deliver a few days early. And do not underestimate winter: Tallinn's days shrink to about six hours of light in December, which is precisely when a bright arrangement lands hardest. Locals know that a bouquet in the dark months says more than one in July. And in a country that fills the Song Festival Grounds with tens of thousands of singers every five years, handing flowers to performers is practically a national reflex, so congratulatory bouquets are always understood.

Where in Tallinn do we deliver?

Everywhere in the city, from the medieval lanes of the Old Town below Toompea hill to the wooden houses of Kalamaja and the converted factories around Telliskivi, now full of studios and cafes. The florist who prepares your order works in the city itself, knows which courtyards hide behind Old Town facades, and calls the recipient if a door code is missing. Apartment living is the norm here, so include a phone number; that single detail prevents most delivery hiccups in Tallinn. Business deliveries work well too: bouquets regularly go to offices in the modern towers of the city center, and to hotels for visitors, where reception simply signs and passes them on. If your recipient works in one of Tallinn's many tech offices, a workplace delivery mid-afternoon tends to be the easiest option of all.

What do Estonians expect from a gifted bouquet?

An odd number of stems. Even-numbered bouquets are reserved for funerals across the Baltics, and every local florist composes accordingly, so you never need to count them yourself. Estonians tend to prefer understated, natural-looking arrangements over stiff formal ones, and seasonal flowers are appreciated. Your card message prints exactly as written, so feel free to write it in Estonian, English, or Spanish. Payment works with cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, or you can pay with Bitcoin through OpenNode at checkout, which is handy if you keep crypto and dislike card foreign-transaction fees.
