Florist Victoria - Blumen von den Seychellen

Sending flowers to Victoria, Seychelles from overseas is simple: choose a bouquet online, pay in USD with a fixed $14.95 service fee, and a local florist on Mahé arranges it fresh and delivers it by hand within 1-2 business days — often same-day if you order before noon Seychelles time.

What makes flower gifting different in Victoria?

Victoria is one of the smallest capitals in the world — you can walk from the silver clock tower (the little Big Ben the locals call Lorloz) to the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market in a few minutes. That compactness works in your favor: a delivery rarely has far to travel, and florists know the streets personally. The island setting also shapes the flowers themselves. Tropical stems that would be luxury imports elsewhere — orchids, anthuriums, heliconias, frangipani accents — are grown close to home here, so arrangements lean lush, bold and unmistakably Seychellois rather than imitating a European bouquet.

When is the best time to send flowers to Victoria?

The Seychelles sit just south of the equator, so there is no cold season to plan around — temperatures hover near 27-30°C year-round, split between the wetter northwest monsoon (roughly November to March) and the breezier southeast trades. That means flowers are appropriate any month; what matters more is the occasion. Birthdays, anniversaries and new babies are the everyday reasons, and late October brings the Festival Kreol, a week when Creole culture, music and hospitality fill Victoria — a warm moment to send something bright to family on the island. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are busy here just as everywhere, so order a day or two ahead for those.

How does same-day delivery work on Mahé?

Your order goes straight to a florist in or near Victoria, who builds the arrangement fresh that day — nothing is flown in pre-boxed or assembled abroad. Hand delivery matters even more in a tropical climate: blooms move from the florist's workroom to the recipient's home or office quickly, instead of sitting in transit heat. The florist will coordinate directly if the recipient works in town or lives up in the hills above the harbor, and your card message arrives word for word as you wrote it.
