Florist Vieux Fort - Saint Lucia Blumen

To send flowers to Vieux Fort from abroad, order online in USD — bouquets from about $55 plus a flat $14.95 service fee — and a local Saint Lucian florist arranges everything fresh and hand-delivers within 1-2 business days. Order before noon local time and same-day delivery is often available.

Why do flowers matter so much in Saint Lucia?

Saint Lucia is one of the few countries on earth with two historic flower societies: La Rose, celebrated on August 30, and La Marguerite, on October 17. These friendly rival festivals — with kings, queens, song and costume — have been part of island life for generations, and they say something real about how Saint Lucians feel about flowers. A bouquet here isn't a formality; it lands inside a living tradition. Add the everyday occasions — birthdays, anniversaries, Independence Day in February — and there's rarely a bad moment to send something to the south of the island.

When should your bouquet arrive in Vieux Fort?

Vieux Fort sits at Saint Lucia's southern tip, home to Hewanorra International Airport and the long windswept sands of Anse de Sables looking out toward the Maria Islands. Many families here have relatives working overseas, so flowers sent from abroad carry particular weight — they close distance. The climate is warm year-round with a wetter stretch from roughly June to November, but since your arrangement is built locally the same day it's delivered, weather is the florist's problem to manage, not yours. For Mother's Day and Valentine's, order a couple of days early; demand on the island spikes hard.

What happens after you place your order?

Your order is passed to a florist who actually works in the area — not a warehouse. They select stems that thrive in the island heat, tropical and vivid, arrange the bouquet fresh, and deliver it by hand to a home, workplace or hotel. Nothing arrives folded in a shipping box. Your gift message is delivered exactly as written, and you can place the order in English or Spanish. Rated 4.8/5 across 377+ verified reviews, the service is built for exactly this: sending love to an island you can't be on.
