Florist Basse-Terre - Blumen aus Guadeloupe

To send flowers to Basse-Terre from abroad, order online in USD and a local Guadeloupe florist arranges your bouquet fresh, delivering it by hand within 1-2 business days. Arrangements start around $55, plus a flat $14.95 service fee — the same fee we charge everywhere, with no surprises for a Caribbean address.

What is it like to send flowers to Basse-Terre?

Basse-Terre is Guadeloupe's administrative capital, a compact seaside town sitting in the shadow of La Soufrière, the cloud-wrapped volcano that dominates the southern half of the island. The surrounding hills are some of the lushest terrain in the Caribbean — rainforest, waterfalls, and gardens where anthuriums, heliconias, and gingers grow the way daisies grow elsewhere. A locally made bouquet here can lean into that tropical abundance instead of imitating a European arrangement, and our florists do exactly that, composing each order fresh on delivery day. Because Guadeloupe is an overseas region of France, addresses, phone formats, and delivery customs follow French norms — one more reason a florist on the ground beats anything shipped in a box.

When is the best moment to send flowers to Basse-Terre?

Guadeloupe keeps the French holiday calendar with a Caribbean accent. Carnival season, running through the weeks before Ash Wednesday, is the island's most exuberant stretch and a joyful excuse for a colorful delivery. French Mother's Day, in late May, is the biggest single flower day of the year here, and La Toussaint in early November brings families together to honor loved ones — a moment when a respectful arrangement from relatives abroad means a great deal. Birthdays, baptisms, and anniversaries carry the rest of the calendar. The climate never really has an off-season, so there is no bad month to send; just order a day or two ahead around the major holidays.

How do payments and delivery work?

You order in English or Spanish, we handle everything with the florist locally, and your gift message is delivered exactly as you write it — French included. Delivery within 1-2 business days is standard, and same-day is often available for orders placed before noon local time; Guadeloupe runs on Atlantic time, four hours behind GMT. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay, and you can also pay with Bitcoin natively — no conversions or workarounds needed.

If your recipient is on the other wing of the butterfly-shaped island, we deliver across Grande-Terre too, including Pointe-à-Pitre and Les Abymes. Browse every destination on our flower delivery across Guadeloupe page. Since 2005 we have paired overseas senders with island florists, earning a 4.8/5 rating from over 377 verified customers — and in a place as naturally beautiful as Basse-Terre, the flowers really should be local.
