Florist Charlotte Amalie - Saint Thomas Blumen

To send flowers to Charlotte Amalie from the mainland or anywhere abroad, order online in US dollars — the local currency, since St. Thomas is a US territory — and a florist on the island arranges your bouquet fresh for hand delivery in 1-2 business days, with a flat $14.95 service fee on every order and bouquets starting around $55.

What makes Charlotte Amalie an easy place to send flowers?

No currency conversion, no language barrier, and a compact, walkable harbour town. The Danish colonial past still shows everywhere: Main Street keeps its old name of Dronningens Gade, red-walled Fort Christian — begun by the Danes in the 1670s and the oldest standing structure in the Virgin Islands — guards the waterfront, and landmarks like the 99 Steps, built from old ship-ballast brick, climb from the harbour toward Blackbeard's Castle. The town's synagogue, its floor famously covered in sand, is among the oldest in the Western Hemisphere. Your bouquet might be headed to an apartment above a Main Street storefront, a home in the hills with a harbour view, or an office near Emancipation Garden — all within easy reach of a florist who works the island daily.

When does St. Thomas celebrate with flowers?

April, for a start: the Virgin Islands Carnival in Charlotte Amalie, held since 1952, is one of the Caribbean's liveliest — weeks of pageants, calypso, food fairs, and both a Children's Parade and an Adults' Parade that pull families together from across the mainland diaspora. The territory also marks Transfer Day on March 31, remembering the 1917 handover from Denmark to the United States. US holidays apply too — Mother's Day in May, Valentine's Day in February — alongside a steady year-round rhythm of birthdays, church milestones and beach weddings at spots like Magens Bay.

How far ahead should you order?

For the big dates — Mother's Day above all, then Valentine's and the Carnival weeks in April — a couple of days of notice keeps your first-choice bouquet available. The rest of the year, the standard 1-2 day window applies, and orders placed before noon island time can often be delivered the same day. December through April is also the height of the visitor season, so if your recipient is staying at a hotel, include their check-in dates.

Can you reach hotels, villas and cruise passengers?

Yes. Deliveries go to resorts and guesthouses across the Charlotte Amalie side of the island — provide the property name and guest details and the florist coordinates with the front desk. If someone special is arriving by ship at Havensight or Crown Bay, flowers waiting at their hotel afterward beats anything from a gift shop. Every arrangement is composed fresh on St. Thomas the day it is delivered, never shipped in a box, and your card message arrives word for word as written.

We deliver island-wide — see flower delivery across Saint Thomas, including Frenchtown and Red Hook on the east end. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal and Shop Pay, and you can also pay with Bitcoin natively.
