Florist Cuenca - Blumen Ecuador

To send flowers to Cuenca from abroad, order online in USD and a Cuenca florist will arrange your bouquet fresh and deliver it within 1-2 business days — same-day is available if you order before noon Ecuador time. Bouquets start around $55, and the service fee is a flat $14.95 no matter where you are sending from.

Why is Cuenca one of the best cities anywhere to receive flowers?

Few cities on earth are as flower-proud as Cuenca. In the heart of the UNESCO-listed colonial center, the Plaza de las Flores beside the El Carmen church hosts one of South America's most famous flower markets, its stalls overflowing every morning. And Ecuador's Andean highlands grow some of the finest roses in the world — long-stemmed, huge-headed, exported everywhere. When your bouquet is arranged locally in Cuenca, it draws on that supply at the source, fresher than anything that could be flown in.

When should you plan a delivery to Cuenca?

The city's grandest moment is the Fiestas de Cuenca around November 3, when independence celebrations fill the streets along the Tomebamba River with music, crafts, and crowds. Mother's Day in May, Valentine's Day, and Christmas are the other peaks. Cuenca also has a large community of North American and European residents, so birthdays and anniversaries arrive from abroad all year — the 1-2 day window makes even last-minute gestures workable.

The high-altitude climate stays springlike most of the year, which is kind to flowers: no scorching afternoons to wilt an arrangement on the doorstep.

What does the ordering experience look like?

Ecuador uses the US dollar, so what you see at checkout is exactly the local value — no conversion at all. Order in English or Spanish; your message is printed just as you wrote it, so a card in Spanish for your abuela arrives letter-perfect. Payment options include cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and the ability to pay with Bitcoin natively at checkout. abcFlora has worked exclusively with local florists since 2005 and is rated 4.8/5 across 377+ verified reviews.

We also deliver through local florists in Quito and in the coastal hub of Guayaquil, and you can browse the full network via flower delivery across Ecuador. Same flat fee everywhere, and always a bouquet built fresh in the recipient's own city.
