Florist Georgetown - Blumen Saint Vincent und die Grenadinen

Sending flowers to Georgetown, St. Vincent from overseas is straightforward: order online in USD — bouquets from roughly $55 plus a flat $14.95 service fee — and a local Vincentian florist arranges them fresh, hand-delivering within 1-2 business days.

What should you know about Georgetown before you send?

Georgetown sits on St. Vincent's rugged windward coast, where the Atlantic rolls in against dark volcanic sand and La Soufrière rises inland — the volcano whose 2021 eruption tested this district's resilience and drew the whole country together. Just up the road, travellers cross the broad stony bed of the Rabacca Dry River, the old lava channel that marks the way to the volcano trail. Once the centre of the island's sugar industry, Georgetown today is a quieter town of deep-rooted families, churches and small farms in some of the most fertile soil in the Caribbean — this northern stretch of the island is also home to the arrowroot cultivation for which St. Vincent remains world-famous. Flowers sent here almost always come from relatives abroad — the Vincentian diaspora in New York, Toronto and London is large — and they land with real emotional force in a town where everyone knows everyone.

When do Vincentians celebrate with flowers?

Vincy Mas, the national carnival culminating in early July, is the country's biggest party and a homecoming season for the diaspora. The Nine Mornings festival in the days before Christmas — pre-dawn gatherings, sea baths, carolling and music through the streets — is a beloved and uniquely Vincentian tradition, making December a warm month for deliveries. Mother's Day in May is the single biggest flower occasion, and church-anchored life keeps funeral tributes, weddings and christenings central. A birthday bouquet arriving unannounced from a son or daughter overseas remains the classic Georgetown delivery.

How far ahead should you order?

For Mother's Day and the December stretch through Nine Mornings and Christmas, two or three days of notice is wise — those are the moments when half the diaspora has the same idea. Around Vincy Mas in July, ordering ahead also helps the florist time delivery around homecomings and street events. The rest of the year, the standard 1-2 day window covers birthdays, sympathy and get-well flowers comfortably.

How does hand delivery work on the windward coast?

Georgetown is about an hour's drive up the coast from Kingstown, through a string of windward villages, and addresses in the district lean on local knowledge — village names, landmarks, family names — more than street numbers. That is exactly what a local florist brings. Include a phone number for the recipient and coordination becomes easy. Your bouquet is arranged fresh in-country on delivery day, never boxed and shipped through the tropics, and delivered personally with your message word-for-word. Ordering works in English or Spanish, and our local-florist model has operated since 2005 with a 4.8/5 verified rating.
