Florist Lima - Peru Blumen

Sending flowers to Lima from overseas takes a few minutes: choose a bouquet priced in USD (from about $55, plus one flat $14.95 service fee), and a florist working in Lima itself builds it fresh and hand-delivers it, usually within 1-2 business days. Order before noon Lima time and same-day delivery is often possible.

Which dates matter most for flowers in Lima?

Día de la Madre, the second Sunday of May, is the heavyweight — in Peru it is one of the busiest gifting days of the entire year, and florists across the city work flat out, so ordering two or three days early is smart. Fiestas Patrias on 28 and 29 July fills Lima with family reunions, another natural window for an arrangement on the table. Beyond the calendar, Limeños mark birthdays, new babies, and quinceañeras with flowers as a matter of course. If the person you love lives in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, or out in the northern or southern cones, the same order form covers them all. A large share of our Lima orders come from Peruvians abroad — in the United States, Spain, and Chile especially — closing thousands of kilometres in a single afternoon.

Does Lima's grey season change what you should send?

It genuinely does. From roughly May to October the garúa — a fine coastal mist — settles over the city and the sky turns a flat pearl grey for weeks at a time; locals call it "panza de burro". A saturated bouquet of roses, gerberas, or sunflowers reads almost defiantly bright against that backdrop, which is exactly why winter deliveries in Lima get such warm reactions. In the sunnier months, when people are back walking the malecón above the Pacific cliffs of Miraflores, lighter mixed bouquets feel right. Your florist chooses from what is freshest in the city that morning, and Peru — one of the world's serious flower-growing countries — gives them plenty to work with.

Can I order and write my message in Spanish?

Yes — the whole process works in English or Spanish, and your gift card is delivered exactly as written, tildes and all, so "Feliz día, mamita" arrives just as you meant it. Payment stays in US dollars, convenient if you are sending from the US, Europe, or anywhere Peruvian relatives have settled. Cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay are all accepted, and you can pay with Bitcoin natively at checkout if that is how you move money across borders. The price you see is the price you pay: bouquet plus $14.95, no surprises on arrival.

We cover flower delivery across Peru with the same local-florist model. If your family is in the sierra rather than on the coast, see our collections for Arequipa and Cusco — each city has its own florists and the same 1-2 business day delivery.
