Florist Split - Kroatien Blumen

To send flowers to Split from abroad, simply order online: a local florist in Split composes your bouquet fresh and hand-delivers it, usually within 1-2 business days, with same-day often available before noon local time. You pay in USD, with a flat $14.95 service fee and bouquets from around $55.

Split grew out of Diocletian's Palace — people still live and run shops inside the Roman emperor's 1,700-year-old walls — and spills along the Riva waterfront toward the pine-covered Marjan hill. It is a Mediterranean city in every sense, which means flowers, terraces and long conversations are all part of daily life.

What is special about sending flowers to Split?

The old town is a maze of marble lanes where no delivery van can go — and that is exactly why a local florist matters. Our partners know which addresses inside the palace walls are reached on foot, and how to find a recipient in the newer neighborhoods spreading east toward Bačvice beach or up the slopes below Marjan. Every arrangement is made in the city the day it is delivered; nothing arrives boxed from a warehouse abroad. Mediterranean staples — lavender from the nearby islands is a Dalmatian icon — pair naturally with roses and seasonal stems here.

Which local occasions are worth marking with flowers?

The city's own feast day, Sudamja on May 7, honors Saint Domnius and turns Split festive for days. Croatians also celebrate name days alongside birthdays, All Saints' Day on November 1 is observed devotedly, and Valentine's Day and Women's Day both move plenty of bouquets. Summer brings weddings — Dalmatia's season for them — plus a wave of orders from the Croatian diaspora in Germany, Australia and the Americas sending greetings home while the whole coast is outdoors.

How does international payment work?

You never touch euros: checkout runs in US dollars via card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or you can pay with Bitcoin directly, processed natively through OpenNode. Orders can be placed in English or Spanish, and the card message is delivered letter for letter as you wrote it — Croatian diacritics included. abcFlora has worked exclusively with local florists since 2005 and holds a 4.8/5 rating from 377+ verified reviews.
