Florist Varna - Blumen Bulgarien

To send flowers to Varna from abroad, order online in USD and a local Varna florist makes the bouquet fresh, delivering it by hand within 1-2 business days. Prices start around $55 with a flat $14.95 service fee, and orders before noon Bulgarian time can often be delivered the same day.

What makes Varna a good city to receive flowers in?

Varna is Bulgaria's sea capital, stretched along the Black Sea with the vast Sea Garden, one of the largest urban parks on the coast, running between the city and the beach. Summers bring the whole country here, and the city's own holiday falls on August 15, the feast of the Dormition, celebrated as Varna Day with events across town. It is a city of students, sailors, and summer reunions, which keeps the occasions coming: graduations from the naval academy and universities, homecomings, seaside weddings. A bouquet delivered by hand fits naturally into all of it, and if your recipient is staying at one of the resort areas just up the coast for the season, ask us and we will confirm whether the address falls within the local florist's delivery range before you pay.

Which Bulgarian traditions shape when to send?

Start with Baba Marta on March 1, when Bulgarians exchange red-and-white martenitsi to welcome spring; flowers sent that week ride a wave of seasonal goodwill straight into March 8, Women's Day, the year's biggest bouquet date. Then come the name days, imen den, which in Bulgaria often outrank birthdays: Tsvetnitsa, Palm Sunday, is the name day of everyone named after a flower, Tsvetan, Tsvetana, Lilia, and more, and it is one of the loveliest days of the year to send an arrangement. One practical rule: keep stem counts odd, because even numbers are reserved for funerals in Bulgaria without exception; our local florist composes every celebratory bouquet that way by default. September also deserves a mention, as the start of the school year traditionally sees children bringing flowers to teachers across the country.

How does an order from abroad reach a Varna address?

A florist in the city composes the arrangement on delivery day, so nothing wilts in transit the way boxed flowers do, then a courier hands it over at the door, whether near the Sea Garden, in the center around the cathedral, or in the residential districts inland. Include the recipient's phone number, as couriers call before arriving. You order in English or Spanish; the card message is delivered exactly as written, Cyrillic included. Pay in USD by card, PayPal, or Shop Pay, or pay with Bitcoin through OpenNode. Since 2005, abcFlora has earned a 4.8/5 rating over 377+ verified reviews doing this in 98 countries.
