Florist Mahina - Blumen aus Französisch-Polynesien

Yes, flowers can reach Mahina even from the other side of the world: order in USD — bouquets from around $55 plus a flat $14.95 service fee — and a florist on Tahiti arranges them fresh and hand-delivers in Mahina, normally within 1-2 business days. Before noon Tahiti time, same-day delivery is often possible.

What makes Mahina's setting so remarkable?

Mahina holds one of the Pacific's great landmarks: Pointe Vénus, the black-sand point on Matavai Bay where Captain Cook observed the transit of Venus in 1769, watched over by Tahiti's historic lighthouse. The commune stretches along Tahiti's lush north coast between the ocean and the green wall of the interior mountains, a short drive east of Papeete. It is a place where nature already runs riot — hibiscus hedges, frangipani, and the scent of tiare in the evening air — which raises the bar for a bouquet. That is exactly why ours are arranged by a florist working locally, from fresh island stock, rather than shipped in from anywhere. The climate splits into a warm, greener season from November to April and cooler, drier months from May to October, but flowers are a constant in both.

Do flowers carry special meaning in Tahiti?

Few places on earth weave flowers into daily life so completely. The tiare Tahiti — the small white gardenia that is French Polynesia's emblem — is worn behind the ear, strung into crowns and leis, and offered as a welcome. July brings the Heiva i Tahiti, the territory's great festival of dance and song, when flower crowns are practically a uniform. Against this backdrop, sending an arrangement to Mahina is not a foreign gesture but a fluent one: birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, and homecomings here are already flower occasions. The tiare's fragrance is famously strongest after dark, something Tahitians have always known. A card message in French, Tahitian, English, or Spanish is delivered exactly as you write it.

How does an order travel from your screen to Matavai Bay?

Simply. You pay in US dollars — the total is fixed at checkout as the bouquet price plus $14.95, with no franc-pacifique conversion to puzzle over — using a card, PayPal, Shop Pay, or Bitcoin natively via OpenNode if you would rather pay with Bitcoin. A local florist then composes the arrangement fresh and drives it to the door, whether that is a family home in the hills or a house near the point. The 4.8/5 rating across 377+ verified reviews includes plenty of senders reaching remote places; distance is the whole point of the service.

Our flower delivery across French Polynesia covers the island's other communities too — see the collections for Papeete, the capital just along the coast, and Faaa by the airport, each served by local florists at the same flat fee.
