Florist Rijeka - Kroatien Blumen

To send flowers to Rijeka from abroad, order online and a local Rijeka florist arranges your bouquet by hand, usually delivering within 1-2 business days — or the same day if you order before noon local time. You pay in US dollars, with bouquets from about $55 plus a flat $14.95 service fee, and you can order in English or Spanish.

When do people in Rijeka give flowers?

Rijeka's gifting calendar peaks early in the year. The Rijeka Carnival, one of the largest in Europe, fills the Korzo with parades in the weeks before Lent, and it often overlaps with Valentine's Day, so late winter is when the city's florists work hardest. International Women's Day on 8 March is still widely observed in Croatia, which makes that week a natural moment to send a bouquet to a mother, colleague, or friend. Name days carry real weight in Croatian families too, often more than birthdays, and the feast of St. Vitus in June — the city's patron saint, whose cathedral sits just off the old town — rounds out the local occasions worth marking with fresh stems.

How does local delivery work in Rijeka?

Your order goes to a florist based in the city, who buys and arranges everything fresh on the day — nothing is shipped in a box. Deliveries cover the centre around the Korzo and the harbourfront, and climb the hill to Trsat, where the pilgrimage church and castle look out over the Kvarner Gulf. Because many Rijeka addresses sit on steep streets stacked above the port, an exact house number and the recipient's phone number help the driver time the handover well. Offices near the waterfront, university buildings, and hospitals are all reachable, and the florist will call ahead if the recipient is out.

What should you know before ordering?

Write your gift message exactly as you want it read: it is delivered word for word, whether you write it in Croatian, English, or Spanish. Payment works with cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay, and you can also pay with Bitcoin directly at checkout. Rijeka's famous bura wind can rattle the Kvarner coast in winter, but hand delivery by someone who lives there means your flowers arrive arranged and upright, not tumbled out of a courier van. With a 4.8/5 rating across 377+ verified reviews, most senders come back for the next occasion.

If your people are spread around the country, browse flower delivery across Croatia, or go straight to our Zagreb and Split collections to reach family on the mainland or further down the Adriatic coast.
