Flower Delivery in Paris, France

To send flowers to Paris from abroad, order online and a local Parisian florist arranges your bouquet fresh on the day of delivery. Most orders arrive within 1-2 business days — often same-day if placed before noon Paris time — and you pay in USD with a flat $14.95 service fee, no hidden charges.

Paris is a city that still buys flowers on foot. Corner florists spill onto the pavement in nearly every arrondissement, and the flower market on the Île de la Cité has been trading blooms beside Notre-Dame for over two centuries. When your bouquet arrives hand-tied rather than boxed, it fits right into that culture — it looks like something bought that morning a few streets away, because it was.

When do Parisians actually give flowers?

The date to know is the 1st of May. On La Fête du Muguet, the French give sprigs of lily of the valley for luck, and street sellers appear all over the city for that one day. French Mother's Day falls later than the American one — usually the last Sunday of May or the first of June — so double-check before you schedule. Valentine's Day, birthdays and anniversaries round out the calendar, and a bouquet sent to a Parisian dinner-party host is always read as good manners rather than extravagance.

What kind of bouquet suits a Paris apartment?

Parisians tend toward the loose, garden-gathered style — think ranunculus, garden roses and seasonal stems rather than stiff formal arrangements. Many recipients live in classic Haussmann buildings with compact rooms, so a medium hand-tied bouquet often lands better than an enormous one. Whether you are sending to a flat in Le Marais, a studio near Montmartre or an office in the 8th, our florists compose to local taste with what is freshest at the market that morning.

How does delivery work with door codes and concierges?

Parisian apartment buildings almost always have a digicode at the street door, and some still have a gardien or concierge. Include the door code, floor and any interior building details in the delivery notes, plus the recipient's phone number so the courier can call up. Same-day delivery is available across the arrondissements when you order before noon local time, and your gift message is printed exactly as you write it — in French, English or Spanish.
