Florist Quito - Ecuador Flowers

To send flowers to Quito from abroad, order online and a florist in Quito arranges your bouquet fresh the day it is delivered — normally within 1-2 business days, often same-day if ordered before noon Ecuador time. Prices are listed in USD (Ecuador's own currency) with a flat $14.95 service fee.

Here is the delicious irony of sending flowers to Quito: you are sending them to the source. Ecuador is one of the world's great rose producers, and the high-altitude farms around Cayambe — in sight of the volcano north of the city — grow roses with the huge heads and metre-long stems that florists everywhere covet. In Quito, those same roses are simply local flowers.

Why are Ecuadorian roses considered the best in the world?

Altitude and equatorial light. At nearly 2,850 metres, with twelve hours of intense daylight year-round, roses grow slowly, straight and large — qualities that fetch premium prices abroad but come standard in a bouquet arranged in Quito. When your recipient in La Floresta, Cumbayá or the Centro Histórico receives a dozen local roses, they are getting the export-grade product without the export journey.

What are the key flower-giving dates in Quito?

Ecuadorian Mother's Day follows the US date on the second Sunday of May and is the giant of the local calendar. Valentine's Day — Día del Amor y la Amistad — covers friends as well as couples. And in early December, the Fiestas de Quito fill the city with parades, music and open-air celebration in the days leading to 6 December, a festive stretch when a bouquet lands especially well. Order a day ahead of any of these peaks.

How does delivery handle Quito's long, mountainous geography?

Quito stretches dozens of kilometres along its Andean valley, from northern business districts to the colonial south, with valley suburbs like Cumbayá and Los Chillos over the ridge. A local florist and courier who drive these routes daily make all the difference. Include the recipient's phone number and any building or conjunto details; your message card is delivered exactly as written, in Spanish or English.

We also arrange flower delivery across Ecuador, including Guayaquil on the coast and Cuenca in the southern Andes. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal, Shop Pay — and you can pay with Bitcoin natively if you prefer.
