Florist Varsovia - Poland Flowers

To send flowers to Warsaw from abroad, order online in USD, pay a flat $14.95 service fee, and a local Warsaw florist arranges your bouquet fresh and hand-delivers it within 1-2 business days. Order before noon Warsaw time and same-day delivery is usually possible across the city.

When do Varsovians expect flowers?

Poland takes its flower calendar seriously. Women's Day on March 8 is the biggest single date of the year — offices, schools and street corners fill with tulips, and forgetting it is genuinely noticed. Name days (imieniny) are printed in every Polish calendar and in many families matter as much as birthdays, which makes them a lovely excuse to surprise someone in Warsaw when they least expect it. Around November 1, All Saints' Day, the city's flower trade shifts almost entirely to chrysanthemums for the graves at Powązki and other cemeteries — a moving sight, but a reason to time gift bouquets around that week rather than on it.

Which flowers work best in Warsaw — and which should you avoid?

One unwritten rule: give an odd number of stems. Even-numbered bouquets are traditionally reserved for funerals in Poland, and any Warsaw florist will quietly steer you right if you forget. Chrysanthemums carry cemetery associations, so skip them for romantic or celebratory gifts. Beyond that, tastes run classic — roses, tulips in late winter and spring, peonies in June. Warsaw winters drop well below freezing, which is exactly why hand delivery matters: your arrangement goes from the florist's cooler to the recipient's door, never shipped cold in a cardboard box.

How does delivery work across Warsaw's neighborhoods?

Our partner florists cover the whole city — the meticulously rebuilt Old Town, the embassy streets around Mokotów, the newer towers of Wola, and Praga on the east bank of the Vistula, which keeps its own gritty-artistic character. The florist prepares the bouquet the day of delivery and brings it personally, calling the recipient if a gate code or office reception complicates things. Your gift message is printed and delivered exactly as you write it, in Polish, English or any language you choose — we never edit or translate it.
