Florist Tbilisi - Georgia Flowers

To get flowers to Tbilisi from abroad, order online in USD and a Tbilisi-based florist prepares the bouquet fresh, delivering by hand in 1-2 business days. Arrangements start around $55 with a flat $14.95 service fee for every order, and same-day is often available when you order before noon Georgia time.

What do you need to know about giving flowers in Georgia?

One rule above all: give an odd number of stems. Even-numbered bouquets are for mourning throughout the Caucasus, and Georgians notice. Our local florists compose with this in mind, so the counting is handled for you. Flowers carry real weight in Georgian culture, a culture built around hospitality and the supra feast table, and arriving anywhere as a guest with flowers for the hostess is simply good manners. A bouquet sent from abroad slots naturally into that tradition; it reads as warmth, not extravagance. Roses are especially loved here, and Tbilisi's long, mild autumn keeps locally sourced stems in good supply well past the point when northern cities have gone bare.

Which dates matter most in Tbilisi?

Georgia celebrates Mother's Day on March 3 and International Women's Day on March 8, which makes early March the single busiest week of the florist year, back-to-back occasions five days apart. Order a day or two ahead during that window. In autumn, Tbilisoba, the city festival held in October, fills the streets around the Old Town with harvest stalls and music, a lovely moment to surprise someone. Birthdays, church name days, and anniversaries round out the calendar, and Georgians rarely let any of them pass unmarked. Add to that the growing number of foreigners who have moved to Tbilisi in recent years, remote workers and their families among them, and the city sees flowers arriving from abroad in every season. If your date falls near a public holiday, place the order a day early so the florist has room to source the best stems.

How does delivery work across the city?

Tbilisi spreads along the Mtkvari river between steep hills, from the sulfur-bath domes of Abanotubani and the balconied houses of the Old Town up to Rustaveli Avenue, the leafy blocks of Vake, and the huge residential districts on the left bank. A courier from a local shop navigates all of it far better than any parcel service, and calls the recipient when the building needs a gate code. Include a Georgian phone number with your order whenever possible. You can order in English or Spanish, your message is delivered exactly as written, even in Georgian script, and payment takes cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, or lets you pay with Bitcoin through OpenNode. With a 4.8/5 rating from 377+ verified reviews, the service is well tested.
