Delete your abcFlora account

This page explains how to delete your abcFlora account (the abcFlora Flower Delivery app, published by Flowers Worldwide LLC) and what happens to your data.

Delete your account from the app

This is the fastest way and takes less than a minute.

  1. Open the abcFlora app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete my account.
  4. Tap Send verification code. We email a 6-digit code to your address to confirm it is really you.
  5. Enter the code and tap Delete my account permanently.

Your account is deleted immediately and we send you a confirmation email.

Delete your account by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the address you used to sign up, with the subject Delete my account. We complete the deletion within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What we delete

  • Your account and your ability to sign in.
  • Your email address and your name.
  • Saved recipients, delivery addresses and phone numbers.
  • Card messages and sender names you have written.
  • Your customer record in our store system.

What we keep, and why

We keep a record of orders you have already received, with no personal data attached: order number, date, items purchased and amount paid. We are required to keep this for accounting and tax purposes. It cannot be linked back to you: the name, email, addresses and phone numbers are removed.

Payment records are held by our payment processor, Stripe, under its own legal retention obligations. We never store your card details.

If you have an order on its way

If you delete your account while an order has not been delivered yet, we keep the recipient's delivery address and phone number until the flowers are delivered, because the order is already paid and the local florist needs them to complete it. That information is erased automatically as soon as the order is marked delivered, and in any case within 7 days of the delivery date. Everything else is deleted straight away.

Can I get my account back?

No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You are welcome to create a new account at any time with the same email address, but your previous orders and saved recipients will not be there.
